Jamnalal Bajaj was an Indian industrialist, a philanthropist and an Indian freedom fighter. He was also a close associate and a follower of Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhiji has accepted him as his son. In the first year in 1898, when Jamnalal Bajaj was born in a poor Marwadi family, then as the third son of Kaniram and Bardi Bai, in a village named Kashi in Kashi near Sikar in Rajasthan. He later adopted Seth Balraj and his wife Sadabai Balraj as a grandson, who was a prosperous Rajasthani merchant of Wardha. Seth Bachraj was a distant relative in favor of his father, and was a famous and respected businessman in the British Raj.
